At a time when there have been many press reports speculating the end of their relationship, Ranbir showed Deepika (and everyone else) that he cares a lot for her.It was Deepika’s birthday on January 5 and Ranbir joined her for dinner. That's why they skipped Daboo Ratnani's calendar launch as well. Earlier in the day, Deepika went to the Siddhivinayak temple with her parents.
Among other gifts he gave her was something Deepika really wanted: Ranbir gave up smoking, after being a smoker for many years.
Many people had tried to make him quit but hadn’t succeeded. Finally, it did happen, for Deepika’s sake.
